Submissions for Pathways and Portals

Portals are defined as gateways or entrances that connect one place to another often serving as a passageway between the here and now.

Pathways build a sense of texture, surface and depth. A pathway entry point lets the viewer meander through the painting.

For the June collaboration we ask you to use either portals or pathways to express our human existence as a constant journey through portals and passageways.All submissions are due by June 6, 2025. All work needs to be delivered by June 13, 2025. Please schedule a delivery date. Work that is in previous exhibitions can be picked up after June 16, 2025. Please schedule your pick up time with Mary Ellen Free (Firehouse Curator) or Chelsea Kornse (Executive Director of the Firehouse.) If you are picking up and delivering new work you can pick up and deliver on February 17, 2025.
