Metamorphic art is about visual transformation and may convey a deeper meaning than a literal experience. Use your art to express the intangible. Think beyond the literal to express emotions, concepts and experiences.
Questions to spur your creativity:
What do you want to transform? An object, landscape or thought? What deeper meaning, complex idea or hidden message are you communicating from your perspective? What happens when time is distorted? What happens when using light and dark versions of an animal, person or object. Can you portray both good and evil in one image?
A bird can transform into a fish. What does this say about the interconnectedness of life forms? A tree can reflect spring moving to autumn creating a sense of distorted time.
